This ongoing podcast series presents Sex, Love, Gender, and Trust, the first full-length Letters Read episode in 2025.
In this production, we meet Angela and Tedd. A cisgender, normative, monogamous couple. They were mature adults when they met, fell in love, and married—truly a love story. As the title suggests, this narrative represents the humor, challenges, and triumphs of sex, love, gender, and trust in the twenty-first century through the lens of personal letters and written ephemera.
Letters Read is an ongoing series in which local performers interpret letters and written documents about culturally vital individuals from various times and Louisiana communities, focusing on New Orleans. Now in its ninth consecutive season, performances are free and open to the general public. Antenna is the project’s fiscal partner.
