Alex Moersen is a graduate of the University of New Orleans Creative Writing Workshop, where he worked as the Associate Fiction Editor of Bayou Magazine. His fiction can be found in CutBank and Every Day Fiction.

Gus Berg is a queer writer from Northern Minnesota or San Francisco, depending on who you ask, and he is currently pursuing his MFA with the Creative Writing Workshop at the University of New Orleans. His nonfiction, poetry, and short stories have been featured in publications like Zyzzyva, Circles, BuzzFeed, and Writing for a Real World.

Sharon LaCour grew up in New Orleans listening to her father and his siblings share stories in their Louisiana French language. Most of Sharon’s writing takes place in Louisiana and around the Deep South. Her stories and essays have been published in the Xavier, Sheepshead, Chautauqua and Arkansas Reviews among others. Sharon’s debut literary novel, The Meeting of Air and Water (August 2024), was a novel-in-progress finalist in the William Wisdom-William Faulkner novel competition in 2019. Sharon lives in Lafayette, Louisiana with her husband and pets. She works as a pianist and piano teacher. She is currently writing an historical novel set in the late 18th century along Bayou Lafourche.

François Bereaud is a husband, dad, full time math professor, mentor in the San Diego Congolese refugee community, and mediocre hockey player. He is the author of the collection San Diego Stories published by Cowboy Jamboree Press. He has been widely published online and in print. The Counter Pharma-Terrorist & The Rebound Queen is his published chapbook. His work has earned Pushcart Best of the Net, and Best Small Fictions nominations. He serves as the fiction editor at The Twin Bill, and reads for Porcupine Literary. Links to his writing at francoisbereaud.com.
