LMNL Arts Patron Party

This is our big THANK YOU!!! to our community: food, drink, and games included, PLUS we’ll have eight fabulous readers (and LMNL long-time supporters), as well as a live auction, raffle, cats, and more! Plus we’ll have copies of our brand new limited edition Zine. This is going to be a raucous and warm celebration of our community. We hope to see you there!
Schedule of Events:
4pm: venue opens for us, includes 1 food ticket & 2 drink tickets per invite, unlimited video games and outdoor yard games
6pm: readings and raffle prizes
8pm: we all go home, brimming with the good stuff community brings!
Featured Readers:
Constance Adler is the author of the novel Sight Unseen, as well as a memoir My Bayou, New Orleans Through the Eyes of a Lover. She makes her home near Bayou Saint John in New Orleans.
Jon Hébert is a musician, writer, jewelry maker, and graphic designer based in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 2022, he published his debut novel, The Gemstone Peridot, a spy thriller. He has more novels and a comedic memoir in the works.
Mona Lisa Saloy is an Author & Folklorist, Educator, & Scholar. She is the former Poet Laureate of Louisiana, and her most recent collection, Black Creole Chronicles, was the 2024 One Book One New Orleans selection.
Ariadne Blayde is a playwright and fiction writer based in America’s last true bohemia. Her first novel, Ash Tuesday, explores the niche culture of New Orleans’ ghost tours and is out from indie press April Gloaming.
A native of Mississippi, Benjamin Morris is the author of Coronary (Fitzgerald Letterpress, 2011), Hattiesburg, Mississippi: A History of the Hub City (Arcadia/History Press, 2014), and Ecotone (Antenna, 2017). The Singing River is his first full-length poetry collection. He lives in New Orleans.
Jaime Dunkle (she/they) discovered her poetic voice at age 11. She has performed live on KBOO Radio and at events such as The Poetry Buffet (New Orleans). Her work has been published online and in indie zines.
Les Patin is a poet and marketing manager from New Orleans.
Nicole M.K. Eiden is a writer and baker. Her poem “The Bridge” was the 2023 Kirkus Reviews selected her debut collection, I Am One of You (Mississippi Sound Publishing, 2016), as a featured book in their Indie category. Originally from Ohio, Nicole lives in New Orleans with her husband and daughter.
