Gold Room November

Join Gold Room for our November reading! We are featuring MFA students Ben Fluet (poetry) and Morgan Hufstader (fiction) and our hosts Danny & Dixon are both gonna step up to the mic for a minute as well. At this most unfortunate yet potent post-election moment, we are going to have a nice big wide-open mic for people to come up and read their carefully crafted or just spur of the moment rants against the establishment.  We want to remind anyone interested in reading at the open mic that this is an invitation to punch-up at the systems of oppression that weigh on us, our country, and our world, not free license to be a bigot or an asshole because that is intolerable and unwelcome 100% of the time.
