Soft Launch: A Reading Series for Creative Works in Progress
November 1 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Soft Launch is a reading series for creative works-in-progress. We started on a Venice, CA rooftop, and now we’re making our New Orleans debut! Join us November 1st, as part of Night School, a weekly wine/food offering put on by Delicious and Harmless at Fourth Wall in the CBD.
Each month a lineup of poets, authors, screenwriters, and comedians take the mic on to share developing work with a room full of curious, creative people. It’s part reading, part creative laboratory, part community gathering. Ideally while sipping nice wine in cool digs. Think of it as a salon of sorts.
Bring the piece that’s still rough around the edges. The bit that might fail. The idea you can’t quite shake. Come discover what’s landing, revel in the creative process, and meet fellow artists and potential collaborators. Soft Launch is a safe space for experimentation, realtime feedback, and creative connection. A celebration of the electric middle of making something—when our art is at its most honest, imperfect, and alive.
Reading starts at 6:30pm, but come early to grab some wine. 🙂
When: November 1st, 6:30pm
Where: Fourth Wall, 614 Gravier St
