BLK INK Book Festival

Experience the BLK INK Book Festival! The four-hour live event is a book expo comprised of 80+ local and regional authors showcasing over 100 books in all genres, including romance, sci-fi, women’s literature, urban fiction, children’s books, and more. In addition, enjoy panel discussions, music, storytelling in the garden, local author VIP exhibits, and the creative ambiance of New Orleans, Louisiana.

The BLK INK Short Film Premiere (BISFP) aims to showcase short films by emerging Black filmmakers from across the country, with a particular interest in films by artists from Louisiana and the Gulf Coast Region. Five films will be featured at the Premiere, followed by a panel discussion led by Gian Smith, Award-Winning Filmmaker and Founder of the Black Film Festival of New Orleans.
