Andy Young’s second full-length collection, Museum of the Soon to Depart, is forthcoming from Carnegie Mellon University Press in October. She is also the author of All Night It Is Morning (Diálogos Press, 2014) and four chapbooks. She grew up in southern West Virginia and has lived most of her adult life in New Orleans, where she teaches at New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. Her work has recently appeared in Identity Theory, Drunken Boat, and Michigan Quarterly Review. A graduate of Warren Wilson’s Program for Writers, her work has been translated into several languages, featured in classical and electronic music, in flamenco and modern dance performances, and in jewelry, tattoos, and public buses. andyyoung.org
Cree Nichelle Pettaway graduated from Louisiana State University with a Master of Fine Arts (concentration in fiction). Cree is a 2021 Best Microfiction Nominee, an English Instructor at the University of New Orleans, and a two-time Pushcart Prize nominee. Her work centers around Southern, Black culture and equal justice initiative politics. Cree has publications in We Are Antifa: Expressions Against Fascism, Racism and Police Violence in the United States and Beyond, Black Feminist Collective, Blavity, and elsewhere.
Stef Russell is an MFA candidate in poetry at the University of New Orleans and a managing editor at Bayou Magazine. In her pre-Louisiana life, she was the food reporter at The Salt Lake Tribune; St. Louis Magazine’s culture editor; and Laumeier Sculpture Park’s poet in residence.
