On December 28th, I have the pleasure of presenting two of my favorite writers in the city of New Orleans, Elizabeth Brina and Té V. Smith. So please come out to Three Muses, 536 Frenchmen Street, on Saturday, December 28th, from 2-4 PM, and enjoy these amazing writers.
Please read below for s bios. And please come to Three Muses and enjoy some amazing food, cocktails, and beautiful readings.
Elizabeth Miki Brina is the author of Speak, Okinawa, published by Knopf in February of 2021 and one of NPR’s best books of the year. Her work has appeared in The Sun, River Teeth, and Lit Hub, among others. She is currently working on her second book and teaching at Xavier University of New Orleans.
Té V. Smith is a Nigerian-American educator and writer. His short fiction has been published in the Dillydoun Review, Blavity, Griffel, Tin House, and other venues. He is most passionate about telling and supporting the stories of underrepresented communities. Té lives in New Orleans, where he most likely can’t be found because he’s somewhere writing & revising a story or nestled between the stacks.
